Dr. David Lynch, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Lynch is the founder of PRO Medical, which was established in 1993. He graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1989 and is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
He specializes in nonsurgical treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Dr. Lynch is also an Assistant Professor at WVU in the Department of Orthopeedics and works part time in the WVU Spine Center.
Here are just a few of Dr. Lynch’s many professional achievements and personal areas of expertise:
- Expert in Electro-diagnostics (EMG-NCS).
- Has hospital consulting privileges at Monongalia General Hospital and WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital.
- Former Medical Director of Rehab of HealthSouth Mountainview Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Former Medical Director of Skilled Nursing Unit at Monongalia General Hospital.
- Served as a member of the Advisory Board to West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Division.
- Former Vice President of the West Virginia State Medical Board. Chairman of the Medical Malpractice committee and the Medical License committee
Brian Silvers LMT, CPT, OHC, BAT
Director of Occupational Medicine
Brian is the Director of Occupation Medicine. He attended North Park University in Chicago, IL. Brian now resides in Morgantown, WV with his son Koa. His main focus is working side by side with Health & Safety Executives providing superior medical/rehabilitation services to remain compliant, healthy, and drug free. Many of the tests performed are Drug & Alcohol Screening, Respirator Fit Tests, Audiograms, Pulmonary Function, Fit for Duty Lift Test & Department of Transportation Physicals.
Dr. Joe Pennington DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Joe Pennington, DPT, is a 1997 graduate of Mapletown High School. After high school, he went on to further his education a Duquesne University, receiving a Masters degree in physical therapy in 2002. Later in his career, he attended West Virginia University, where he received his Doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2008. Joe has 15 years of physical therapy experience in a variety of settings, though his favorite area of focus is orthopedics. He has continued to further his education throughout his career with focus on orthopedics and manual therapy. Joe places treatment emphasis on manual therapy and muscle re-education to not only fix the problem, but the source as well. He enjoys interactions with his patients and is very passionate about improving their quality of life.

Mylan Park
Pro Medical is located within the Pro Performance Sports Plex the regions best Sports Training Rehab and Fitness Facility and part of the Mylan Park Complex.
Mylan Park is A 320 acre non-profit recreational and educational complex dedicated toward improving the quality of life of residents and visitors in North-central West Virginia.
Mylan Park is designed specifically to improve the quality of life for citizens in the region by fulfilling educational, recreational, social service and cultural needs that would otherwise go unmet.
Pro Performance Sports – Fitness Center Amenities
- 78,000 sq. ft. two floor facility
- 50,000 square foot indoor turf arena with 90 foot ceiling height with open turf time for members, sports training, sporting events and public rentals
- General fitness area including various brands of cardio, hammer strength machines, free weights, speed bag, heavy bag, and more
- Collegiate style weight room including free weights, platforms with bumper plates, mono lift and benches for power lifting
- Newly revamped 3000 square foot sports performance area
- 6 batting cages

The Pro Plex arena at Pro Performance is a 270’x180′, Generation 8 FieldTurf surface. The Pro Plex area has the field markings for multiple sports, and can also be used for many rehabilitative exercises.
Pro Medical Rehab provides hydrotherapy. Our HydroWorx pool is a never-ending pool for swimming and is equipped with an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation purposes. The hot plunge and cold plunge pools, also used for rehabilitation purposes, are located in the aquatic therapy area.

We are a Medicare Participating Provider and a preferred provider for many other insurance companies. Please check with your insurance carrier to verify our participation in your health care program, or call us at 304-983-7766 to speak to a Pro Medical staff member.
As a courtesy to our clients, we will gladly submit bills on your behalf; we can bill most insurance companies for you. Insurance co-payments and deductible payments are expected at the time of service.
